It's the social event of the year in my neighborhood! The Annual/Memorial Tractor Race! It's just what it sounds like! If you are new to this...each year the "cool kids" in my neighborhood gather on the Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend...

IMAGINE: Lawn Tractors..."speeding" through normally quiet residential streets... Water balloons flying...from both the race "track," and from the sidelines! Spectators cheering on their favorite racer... ...or SOAKING them! THIS is the social event of the year in my neighborhood! Its ONE month away...30 days from today...and I'm getting EXCITED!

Its the social event of the year in my neighborhood! On Memorial Day Weekend (Sunday) each year, many neighbors live to hear the words: "Ladies and Gentlemen...Start your Engines!" You really haven't lived until you experience the sound of about 30 lawn tractors starting at the same time...

A few weeks back, as we (finally) moved into the warmer weather "Spring" season, I wrote about the return of the lawnmower in our "Garden State" lives (click here).

Its a day that my whole neighborhood looks forward to...Race Day! Tractor Race Day, that is!
