Emotions ran high in Columbus on Tuesday night, when the Blue Jackets paid tribute to NJ's Johnny Gaudreau and his late brother Matthew at their home opener against the Florida Panthers.

Johnny and his brother Matthew were laid to rest during a funeral at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Media, Pa. Monday that was private but live streamed by Johnny's team, the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Appearing in Salem County Superior Court Thursday morning via video Sean Higgin's attorney and the Salem County Prosecutor's Office asked for more time to prepare for his detention hearing.

A memorial service takes place Friday in the gym of Gloucester Catholic High School in Gloucester City followed by a funeral on Monday at a Pennsylvania church.
