SANDY HOOK, N.J. (AP) -- Among the seashells, sandcastles and ocean waves at the Jersey shore last year, you may also have seen these: a whoopee cushion, a parking meter, a stun gun, a clay sculpture of baby Jesus and some bra padding.
The unofficial start of the summer season starts this weekend with Memorial Day and the shore has been gearing up for months now in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. Many of the beaches and boardwalks will be new and you may be paying more to use the beach. But nonetheless, you will be able to go down the shore this summer, much like you have in the past. So are you planning on going?
