Another big NJ river's polluted waters get federal response
The EPA has named a 19-mile stretch of the Hackensack River in North Jersey to its list of Superfund sites. It stems from assessments that showed arsenic and lead among other contaminants in sediment in the riverbed. Officials say the good news it's now it can be cleaned up.
