March 26th, 1975 - The film 'Tommy' premieres in London theaters today. The movie is based on The Who's 1969 rock opera album by the same name. Later in the year the film would go on to win the award for 'Rock Movie of the Year'

July 18th,1992 - Whitney Houston marries Bobby Brown at her estate right here in New Jersey. Those in attendance included Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan, and Patti LaBelle.

NEW YORK (AP) -- The musical about Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio is dancing to Broadway and you could earn a part in it - even playing Gloria.

March 30th, 1991 - Gloria Estefan hits No.1 on the singles chart with 'Coming Out Of The Dark'. It is the first single released after Estefan's tragic accident where an 18-wheeler rammed her tour bus, nearly causing death.

March 30th 1968 - In London, David Bowie makes his debut with the Lindsay Kemp mime troupe in Pierrot in Turquoise.

February 3rd 1969 - John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison hire Allen Klein as the Beatles' business manager. Paul McCartney disagrees with the decision, leading to further divisions among the group.
