A New Jersey woman who ordered three hot coffee drinks from the Delran Dunkin' on Route 130 said she suffered third-degree burns in August 2021, a lawsuit said.
Township resident Paul Haggerty claims he was served coffee with a mismatched cup and lid, causing the beverage to spill on him and resulting in second- and third-degree burns.
The pair would like Dunkin' to disclose the proper temperature range for its hot coffee, the temperature at which the cups they ordered were given to them, and the temperature at which coffee causes severe burns.
The NJTA release said grab-and-go and vending options will be offered for hungry motorists and passengers at both rest stops until the spring, and if new construction is completed as scheduled by 2023, each location promises a variety of dining options.
