Preliminary numbers, through Sunday, already show another 15% bump in crashes and fatalities in 2022 as compared to through May 22, 2021.

Another year, another click it or ticket crack down. It’s the annual effort across the state for extra seat belt enforcement.

A total of 128 towns are participating.

173 police departments across the state are receiving grants to participate in the zero tolerance program enforcing seat belt and other safety laws.

A new survey in New Jersey shows fewer and fewer people are using seat belts when riding in the back seat of cars despite a 2010 law requiring it.

Fasten you seats belts and get ready, New Jersey’s “Click It or Ticket” enforcement program has returned!  You would think something so important like wearing your seat belt would have a program that ran all year long.
