A series of outdoor walks which started in Point Pleasant Beach this past weekend and will continue next month in Jersey City, Princeton and Paramus could bring in more than $1 million for New Jerseyans affected by Alzheimer's disease.

For the 15th consecutive year following the 9/11 attacks, a community-sponsored walk in Manalapan will raise money for various charities and scholarships for local students.
