Well, I'm a standing on a corner
in Winslow, Arizona
and such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed
Ford slowin' down to take a look at me ...

(lyrics by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey)

We've all heard the Eagles "Take it Easy" or Jackson Browe's version since the early 70s.   One of those cool songs that tells a story.

The tiny town of Winslow, Arizona decided to cash in on their fame and build the coolest monument to a song ever seen.   A bronze statue on the corner with a guitar and a cool building with a reflection in the window, and some activity upstairs, too.   Winslow, Arizona is on Interstate 40, between Flagstaff and the New Mexico boarder, and has been hosting the annual "Standin' on the Corner Festival" for the past 13 years.
