A police investigation of a man found hanging inside a Holmdel home thaht led to the discovery of a body in a Jackson home on Wednesday is being investigated as a murder/suicide.

Ocean County Prosecutor Al Della Fave said Holmdel Police went to a home and found Tyree Johnson, 32, of Jackson hanging hanging from the bucket of the Comcast truck on Wednesday afternoon. Holmdel Police went to what they believe was Johnson's home on Lexington Avenue in Jackson to inform relatives of the death, and found the body of Christy Keronen, 29, of Lakewood inside with apparent head trauma according to Della Fave.

An odor coming from the home as police arrived indicated the body may have been in the home for quite some time, according to Della Fave.

Della Fave said Keronen's brother told Jackson Police, upon learning of her death, that he had reported her missing to Lakewood Police earlier in the day. Her brother said he had last seen her on Sunday morning.

"There is no reason to believe that this event poses any threat to the community," Della Fave said.

Della Fave said Johnson and Keronen were known to each other and may have had a relationship in the past.
