Police are searching for the person who robbed a South Jersey bank on Saturday.

The suspect passed a note demanding cash to a teller at the Beneficial Bank on Berlin-Cross Keys in Gloucester Township just after 12:10 p.m., according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. The suspect ran off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cashz authorities said.

The robber is described as a black male with a thin build, standing approximately 5 feet and 9 inches to 6 feet tall, the prosecutor's office said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, it said.

Authorities say anyone with information regarding the robbery should call Gloucester Township Police Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 856-842-5560 or text the keyword TIP GLOTWPPD and a message to 888777.
