The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office says 43-year-old William Convery of South Bound Brook had parked his truck in a residential neighborhood in Woodbridge Friday.

He was standing at the back of the delivery truck when a Dodge Caravan struck him and his vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge has not been identified. Authorities said he is in the hospital in critical condition.

Officials said no charges have been filed but are investigating the crash.
