New waterfront destination in NJ is like a tropical island

It seems that people in New Jersey have a hankering for all things Polynesian. Tiki-themed places always attract so many harried New Jerseyans who want to feel like they’re on vacation.

So last year, when Brian and Jennifer Toner started Pau Hana, a chartered BYO floating Tiki experience, it was no surprise when everyone went wild.

Seizing on the opportunity to bring customers more of what they want, the Toners are launching a brand new waterfront destination the likes of which you’ve never seen before. This brings the Tiki experience to a new level. It’s going to feel like vacationing on a Tropic isle right in South Jersey.

Waterfront Point in Somers Point is truly a vacation destination, even though it’s just for the day. It will feature chartered tiki boat rides, on-the-water floating yoga classes, and hourly rentals of paddleboards, E-foil boards, kayaks, and windsurfing equipment.

Plus, since no vacation destination would be complete without shopping, Waterfront Point will also feature Boutiki – a new waterside boutique that sells products from mission-based brands doing good in the world.

And what’s Paradise without music? Waterfront point will be the site for the 29th annual Somers Point Beach concert series featuring live music for free on Friday evenings throughout the summer.

New Jerseyans are really going to be feeling summer this year. We will truly be in vacation mode since this is the first official summer we’re all not crazy about COVID-19. Waterfront Point seems like a perfect destination to welcome summer back to the Jersey shore. I can’t wait.
