While Boardwalk Hall's General Manager, Greg Tesone,  would not confirm the concert to the Star Ledger, Lady Gaga's  website has already posted as has the concert website Pollstar.com.

Wrestling coaches say that moving the concert from the weekend will cause a number of issues for athletes in terms of their training, travel and diet while creating  a longer time between the end of the regional phase of the tournament and the finals.

Townsquare Sports Director Kevin Williams says "AC is the perfect location as many people stay for the weekend.  If the move it to a place like the Izod Center it won’t have nearly the same feel."

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, an event that has taken place in Atlantic City most years since 1992. The event moved to the Izod Center in the Meadowlands in 2000 and 2001 while Boardwalk Hall was under renovation according to the Star Ledger.

Wayne Hasenbalg, the President & CEO of the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority acknowledge discussion about the Izod Center but would not go into details.
