There's a story that's been making headlines the last few days that just baffles me. It's nuts! A NJ sixth-grader is facing punishment for telling a classmate that vegetarians are "idiots." Stop already!

It a war of words between two sixth-graders. These kids should not be punished under the anti-bullying law. It may be one of the worst pieces of legislation I've ever seen. You can say no one is allowed to make fun of anyone else but this is how kids grow up and learn about life. It teaches kids how to cope.

We are not teaching our kids how to cope. Instead of enforcing anti-bullying, let's make sure parents are taking care of business at home and helping kids learn how to cope as they grow up.
