A review team from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, after spending 3 days on campus, was pleased with progress Kean is making on 4 key standards Kean President Dawood Farahi told the Star Ledger.

Middle States presented their findings in a closed-door meeting on Friday with school administration and would not offer comment on the report. Farahi was positive that the school is well on its way to solving the issues that endangered its accreditation.

"Our hope is that the commission’s decision would be similar to the recommendation of the visiting team. But this is part of a process," Farahi said. "The final decision is made by the commission."
