Hiring Or Closing? Another Mixed Message?
Another one of the big, national women's apparel stores is closing.
The windows are filled with the signs we have become accustomed to in New Jersey: Store Closing. Everything must go!
But, with that fact in mind, there's an interesting smaller sign still on the store door: "Now Hiring."
Its been this way for weeks. You would think that someone would notice and say something, and the "hiring" notice would come down.
Unless, this is the very definition of a "seasonal" or "temporary" job. Emphasis temporary.
Just thought I'd publicly make a note of this (unintended?) mixed message.
