VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY TO SUPPORT A VETERAN! TABERNACLE, NJ – June 3, 2014:

This Saturday & Sunday Helping Hands of New Jersey has teamed with Team Depot (A foundation of Home Depot) to “GET A VETERAN HIS HOME BACK!” But your help is needed now!

A local resident and Korean War veteran from Tabernacle, New Jersey has been facing a tough time getting back on his feet after the house he was living in caught fire in January. He has been forced out of state to live with extended family until he can make repairs. His son has been living in a tent since, trying to work due to limited ability to repair and rebuild.

Greg Nixon, founder and CEO of Helping Hands of New Jersey, heard about this and stepped right up. Greg contacted Team Depot, a foundation of Home Depot and they came through! Team Depot generously donated the materials to provide this local veteran “A HOME” in the state and country he defended.

NOW WE NEED YOU!

Helping Hands of New Jersey is looking for volunteers this Saturday and Sunday to help repair his home. “We need skilled workers or even those with no skills can help and it starts with the cleaning, and then the renovation of his home.” Said Greg.

Work begins Saturday at 9:00 am and goes on until they stop. The address is: 14 Moore Road, Tabernacle, NJ

If you can give just an hour or two of your time, it is greatly appreciated. Let’s really show our Veterans how much we appreciate them. When they were called, they showed up. Now, we are calling you, for them.
