HOLMDEL — Country music fans heading to the PNC Bank Arts Center on Friday to see the Zac Brown Band should be aware: The New Jersey State Police will conduct a DWI checkpoint at the venue.

The show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. According to the art center's website, gates will open at 6 p.m. for the show, with parking lots opening at 4 and a tailgate party on the front law that is BYOB.

"Troopers will be looking for signs of impairment due to alcohol or drugs," the state police said on their Facebook page. "If you plan on drinking, have a designated driver, arrange for transportation or stay where you are. It's not worth the risk of hurting or killing yourself, a friend, a loved one, or innocent motorist."
