When you've got kids, you've got insurance on your cellphones. I figured my kids' screens would be shattering right and left so I was thrilled to pay the insurance premium. Was I (not) surprised when the first shatter-ee turned out to be me!

And I was even more surprised when the insurance company told me the repair guy would be coming to my home, as opposed to my bringing it into the phone store.

I'd seen shattered screens repaired before, and I thought it was a cool enough process that I asked Brian, the nice gentleman who arrived at my door, if I could video and post the process of fixing it. He said he worked fast, so I thought it would be not only interesting but also informative since he said he would kind of explain the steps along the way. I was mortified when the repair job had a different (and humiliating) twist.
