The question of whether Gov. Chris Christie will seek a second term, and whether Newark Mayor Cory Booker will challenge him, is being asked by everyone from journalists to grade schoolers during public appearances.

Both men attended an event Friday at a Newark school, where they said separately that dealing with Superstorm Sandy had delayed their decisions.

Christie says he isn't one to make decisions based on emotion, and hasn't had a clear enough head to decide after "an incredibly emotional" few weeks dealing with Sandy's impact on New Jersey.

Booker says his decision also has been delayed by dealing with the storm and its aftermath.

Both men previously said they'd make their choices after the presidential election.
