Car drives through group of cyclists in South Jersey

BUENA VISTA — State Police say several bicyclists were injured Saturday morning when a car struck them on Route 54 in this Atlantic County township.

Philly.com reports several people were injured, including one seriously who was flown by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. The Daily Journal reports as many eight bicyclists were struck or involved in the accident.

Police continue to investigate the crash, which may involve local road closures.
