The crash, which occurred just before midnight on Monday, brought down power lines on Route 31, in front of the college campus, according to the Ewing Police Department.

An outage map on the PSE&G website indicated that there were 25 outages and 166 customers affected as of 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. The website did not indicate when power would be restored and Ewing Police could not provide a timeline for repairs, but crews from PSE&G were on the scene early Tuesday morning.

Traffic lights in some areas were out as a result of the incident and police closed at least one main road near TCNJ. Route 31 from Ewingville Road heading south to Lanning Street was closed near the school with a detour taking motorists from Ewingville Road to Green Lane to access the college.
