The 20-year-old Marlton native finished behind winner Josh Kaufman and Jake Worhington but already has signed a recording contract with Adam Levine's 222 Records.

“THANK YOU ADAM LEVIINNNEEE!!!!! For wanting to sign me to yur label….bc after 5 years on YouTube, not a single label out there would sign me, Grimmie wrote on her Facebook page during the show. Grimmie already had a following on YouTube

Grimmie also got to perform with Ed Sheeran during the show's season finale.

Just before the Voice aired live from Los Angeles, Evesham Townshp's town council recognized Grimmie's accomplishment. "We wish to recognize her formidable talents. Her journey was nothing short of spectacular," posted the Township on its Facebook page.

38-year-old Kaufman represents the  first win for Usher, who also coached during season four. Usher relished his triumph over previous winners Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. He joked that the Maroon 5 frontman was likely "behind the stage counting votes."

Grimmie is the second New Jersey resident to be part of the final 3 contestants on "The Voice." Jacquie Lee of Colts Neck finished in 2nd place last December and has just released her first single. She will be touring with other performers from the show this summer and will be in Atlantic City on July 5.

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will join Levine and Shelton for the NBC show's seventh season in the fall.
