Jennifer Pedrero Netta: Everyone needs to stop using the words "Bullying", "Hazing" because that justifies parental complaints about cancelling the football season. This is a serious sexual assault and a crime. OMG, didn't these boys realize the severity of their actions. Just so stupid. Their futures are senselessly destroyed but I am more infuriated for the victims, or are the assaulters victims too of past. How long has this been going on unreported?

Laura Meeker Korch: Just canceling the season will not be " enough of a punishment " those kids were bullied and sexually assaulted! Criminal charges should be brought on those who are found out that participated and charged of negligence against the school for not properly supervising the teens.

Shirley Panichella Tremblay: Before we clean up our country...shouldn't we clean up the filth in our own backyards first? This is disgusting...these kids are disgusting...and I'm sorry to say...but they obviously have no respect for themselves...their parents...their school...their teachers...and most of all the children they grew up with...it's shameful...I wonder what Jon Bon Jovi thinks of his hometown now?

Daniel Mosher: This is called "the stinky finger" it is one of many threats the click refereed to as "jocks" perform on its non-members or underclassmen. Others are actually life threatening and if reported the victim receives detention or worse for false accusation or disturbing the harmony.

Lois Thomas: Whenever someone stronger or in a position of power (perceived or real) physically assaults anyone, especially of a sexual nature or of a violating manner - that assualt should be viewed as Rape. NOT Hazing, and NOT Bullying.

Maria Zsorey Haase: Well said, it should not be called hazing at all.

Susan Palermo O'Leary:   Apparently all the players were involved, when the lights were turned off all the boys from the team were present according to what that one player's parent said in an interview yesterday. It had been going on every day in the lock room this Fall. My question is, aren't the coaches offices in the locker room? If so, where were they while this "digital penetration" stuff was going on? My kids attended SWMHS, they said this stuff didn't go on when they were there so it couldn't have been going on that long. My youngest only graduated in 2012.

Kathy Hertensteiner Gronau: It's disgusting and when I heard what was going on I was physically nauseous. If this happened to my child I would be in jail because I would have to take matters into my own hands. But these disgusting pieces of crap will be on the receiving end of much worse when they go to prison. And I don't feel sorry for them.

Beatriz Pelaez-Martinez: I commend this superintendent. This was institutionalized rape and SHOULD NOT BE CONDONED. Parents need to hold their children to a higher standard and this is unacceptable. I hope the victims can heal and I hope this superintendent stands his ground. That man genuinely cares about the kids. Lastly, part of what allowed this to fester is not being so afraid of lawsuits that there was no adult supervision in the locker rooms. Let the coaches do their jobs and perhaps this wouldn't have happened.

June Szijarto Cuzzo: Life is not supposed to be so awful for kids in high school . my comment is - what the hell is our world coming to when kids have to face this kind of stuff before they even get out into the adult world. This is the fault of the adults. Parents not knowing what kids are doing - parents not knowing what hurts their kids are being tortured with - and adults ( coaches - teachers-advisros - etc ) not knowing what is going on in the school they are responsible to maintain safety in. THE PROBLEM IS THE ADULTS.

Jennifer Strashinsky Frantz: Couldn't have said it any better, Lois Thomas.

Rosa Velez-Sauers:  My husband played football in highschool and said that if anyone ever tried anything like that they would get the crap beat out of them...they would consider the kid a freak!!! This is a sexual attack and the people involved should be punished. There must be many involved if a kid was help down. I feel bad for the innocent ones, but this is a crime and needs to be dealt with.

Kelsey Varanyak Carman:  This is just sick and wrong on so many levels. They were saying how the parents were upset about their kids potentially losing their college scholarship. They should all lose it from being involved in this awful attack. Those parents have bigger problems coming their way then losing a scholarship. There definitely should be some sort of jail time.
