You always hear about NFL players visiting sick kids and bringing them joy. This is the story of the special relationship between Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and Lukas Kusters who was diagnosed with stomach cancer within days after Wentz was drafted at the age of 8.

Lukas, a die hard Eagles fan and football player himself, was nicknamed "The Dutch Destroyer" since joining a league at the age of 6. His mantra is "wake up, kick ass, repeat." It would serve him well in what would become the biggest fight of his life.

Lukas's love of Wentz was relayed to the Eagles by a hospital employee and a relationship began between the two that carries on to this day. Even though Lukas lost his battle his memory lives on through Wentz who carries a piece of him on the field that was evident in last night's 34-24 Eagles win over the Washington Redskins. Wentz met with Lukas's family before the game. The story was featured on ESPN and when you watch it, there won't be a dry eye in the house, no matter who you root for.
