Friends, family and member of the Yankees and Mets attended an emotional funeral for Yogi Berra at a private funeral in Montclair.

Aired on the YES Network at the family's request, Archbishop Timothy Dolan led the funeral at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and called Berra a devout Cathlolic.  “All of America mourns him. All of America thanks God for the gift that Yogi was for us," said Dolan.

Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan ended his homily by blending two of Berra's most celebrated remarks. Said Dolan: "There's no fork in the road to eternal life. In that respect, it ain't over."

The New York Daily News reports Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada were among the mourners. Current Yankees Brian McCann and Mark Teixeira also attended along with Yankee owner Hal Steinbrenner, Reggie Jackson and Mariano Rivera, Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred, former player and broadcaster Harold Reynolds, former Giant Harry Carson and former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

A public memorial is scheduled for Sunday at the Yogi Berra Museum on Sunday.
