Would You Want Armed Police in Your Child’s School? [POLL]

According to this article, Westfield decided last night at a Board of Ed meeting to haveĀ  one police officer working in the school district, predominantly out of the high school. Eric Scott is filling in for Jim this morning and wanted to know if that makes you feel safer sending your kids to school everyday. Or is this just a “feel-good” measure that will really have no impact?

If you child’s school decided to do something similar and many NJ schools may follow Westfield’s lead in this, would you be ok with it? Take our poll below and let us know what you think.
