Would you rather spend your money on pot or cookies? (VOTE)
When those droves of Girl Scouts come to your door pushing their Thin Mints, remember this: Americans spent more on legalized marijuana in 2015 than they did on Girl Scout Cookies, according to a recent report.
According to a new report from cannabis industry trade publication "Marijuana Business Daily," the U.S. legal marijuana market - which includes medical and recreational pot sales - saw 2015 revenue between $3 billion and $3.4 billion.
In New Jersey, we only have medical marijuana but imagine how much more spending there would be if weed were legal here for recreational purposes.
That said, you would think that marijuana munchies and those delicious cookies would go together, right? Well, ponder this question: If you had the munchies in a Girl Scout cookie factory, which cookie variety would you choose?
