Would You Ever Tattoo Your Dog? [POLL]

Would you give your dog a tattoo? That’s what Ernesto Rodriguez did not once but twice.

The Stokes County North Carolina man who owns a tattoo parlor put that tats on the bellies of his 4 month old pitbull named Duchess and earlier his other dog Duke. Here is a  news story that discusses Rodriguez's actions and reasoning for tattooing his dog. Do you buy his story?

Rodriguez claims the tats are for identification purposes and Peta is all right with that. What do they do when they brand animals and tattoo horses on their ear and brand their cow? You’re not abusing them. You’re just protecting them so they don’t get lost.”

“It’s just like judging someone for wearing a tattoo. You judge and you think that they’re bad people. It’s not. It’s just art. I’m an artist. I want to put art on my dog. She was already asleep so I took advantage of that.”
