Would you ban your kids from electronic devices? – poll

A listener named Ann Marie called into the show today as we were discussing the hidden language kids have with their friends, either with their technology or through their mobile devices, via texting.

Ann Marie said that she has a very interesting rule with her kids. Ann Marie doesn't allow her kids to have any electronics such as iPhones, iPads or the like. The only devices they are allowed to use are the computers they have at school. Dennis and Judi could understand limiting the hours that your kids spend online with those devices but not allowing them to use them at all, almost seems like the kids would be put at a certain disadvantage from other kids.
