Karlesha Thurman is having her 15 minutes of fame. She's a California mom who decided it would be a good idea to breastfeed her 3 month old daughter at her college graduation in cap and gown with all in attendance to see. The photo, which you can read about and see here, is now going viral. Many are praising her. Some are scolding her.

"It's not disgusting, it's not a bad thing, it's not a negative thing. It's the best thing for my daughter. More people should do it," said Thurman.

I don't think people are disgusted with her for breastfeeding. I think it's obvious people are disgusted with her for breastfeeding without the slightest attempt at discretion (a small blanket perhaps?) at an event that for some parents is once in a lifetime. Did families really need to see most of this woman's breast just because she believes in breastfeeding? Clearly she could have breastfed the child without being so exposed and posing for a picture on top of it.
