It’s one thing to see a scrum on the ice. Especially when the teams fighting for a playoff berth are the Rangers and Flyers.

Add to it, the venue of section 209 of the Wells Fargo Center in the city of Brotherly Love, and you got all the makings of a “bordello’”

So it should come as no surprise that a fight broke out between fans of the rival Rangers and Flyers during game 6 in Philly.

Not too unlike what happened a couple of years back when some Flyers fans accosted 2 Woodbridge cops wearing Rangers jerseys outside of Geno’s Steaks in South Philly.

Surely you remember this:

Things turned ugly in the City of Brotherly Love on Tuesday night when a melee broke out in Section 209 during Game 6 of the Rangers-Flyers playoff series.

The fight occurred in the waning minutes of the contest in which the Rangers were soundly defeated 5-2. A video from a fan in the section was quickly uploaded to YouTube which show Rangers and Flyers fans both slugging it out.

Chants of “Rangers Suck!” erupted soon after one Rangers fan was pulled backward from one row to another and punched repeatedly in the face by two assailants.

The VP of security at Wells Fargo Center said the facility could not comment on particulars about the skirmish, though a pair of security guards were overhead talking about amount of blood on an “idiot Flyers fan’s face.”

Police said no arrests were made related to the fight.

Amazing, no arrests.
Never ceases to amaze and astound.

Where have you encountered the worst fans and which team has the worst behaved fans?
