The accident happened Sunday at the Voorhees Town Center in Voorhees Township.

Initial reports said the worker had possibly fallen from a height up to 30 feet. But police say the confusion arose because of a language barrier.

Voorhees police say the 33-year-old was treated for minor injuries and released from a hospital.

Voorhees Town Center says on its website that Sunday was the last day of the carnival, which opened April 25. It says proceeds from the event were to benefit the Nephcure Foundation, which supports research on the kidney disorders FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome.
