Woman’s Death In Bridgeton Ruled An Accident
The death of a woman in Bridgeton on Wednesday night has been ruled an accident.
An autopsy report concludes that Bernadette Montgomery, a 54-year-old woman from Delaware, slipped as she exited a NJ Transit bus and fell under the rear tire reports WPVI TV.
Bridgeton Police Captain said in a statement the driver of the bus may not have realized what happened.
Montgomery's body was discovered on McCormick Place by a passer-by with no ID on her body. Police used surveillance from a nearby liquor store to watch what happened.
The accident is still under investigation by Bridgeton Police.
