Police in Maple Shade have arrested a Philadelphia man in connection with the discovery of a woman's body in the trunk of a car at a hotel.

In a statement, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office says Maple Shade police went to the Quality Inn on Route 38 as part of a missing persons investigation by Philadelphia police and found the body Sunday night in the trunk of a white sedan driven by Jesus Garcia, 41.

Garcia, 41, has been charged with concealment of human remains; he is being held at the Burlington County jail in Mount Holly on $150,000 bail and will appear in court on Tuesday if bail is not posted.

The victim has not been identified pending an autopsy which is scheduled for today. Her connection to Garcia or a cause of death have not been released.

According to 6 ABC,  the woman's family reported her as missing Sunday night and used the OnStar tracking system to trace her white sedan to the hotel.

Police knocked on doors at the hotel asking guests if they had heard anything in the parking lot. They towed the car away around 6 a.m according to NBC 10.
