A Cherry Hill woman is charged with attempted murder after she tried to set a home on fire with her 4-year-old child, ex-boyfriend and his mother inside.

Pemberton Police in a statement  that Annie Ngo, 25, was confronted by her ex as she poured gasoline around the outside of the home on Pointville Road Saturday morning. When he threatened to call police she ran off on foot.  When police arrived they smelled gasoline and saw liquid on the ground around the house.

A warrant was issued for Ngo who was arrested in Cherry Hill around 12:15 p.m.  Police said she was under a restraining order to stay away from the home.

Ngo was charged with attempted murder, attempted aggravated arson and endangering the welfare of a child.  Police did not say what Ngo's motivation was or disclose the names of the ex-boyfriend and his mother. She is being held in the Burlington County Jail on $800,000 bail.
