Woman Killed, Man Wounded in Camden Shooting

A woman was killed and a man was wounded when gunshots rang out on a Camden street over the weekend.Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says 30-year-old Elizabeth Cooper of Camden was shot multiple times in the 100 block of Eutaw Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. She was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 24-year-old Camden man, whose name was not released, was shot once in the left leg. He was being treated at a hospital, but further details on his condition were not disclosed.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
