Tara Worthy is charged with child endangerment, heroin possession and other offenses.

Manchester Township police say the 26-year-old Toms River woman was found to have a suspended driver's license when she was stopped Monday night.

They say drug paraphernalia and a hypodermic needle were found under Worthy's seat. The heroin and related paraphernalia were later discovered in the child's car seat.

A 21-year-old passenger was also arrested and faces drug charges.

Worthy's bail was set at $50,000 bail. It wasn't known Wednesday if she has retained an attorney.
