Riverton Police have identified the woman discovered dead in the middle of a residential street on Sunday morning.

Riverton Police have identified the woman as Te'Aira Denise Earvin of Youngstown, Ohio. An autopsy has concluded Earvin died from a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide. No arrests have yet been made.

 

 

 

Earvin was found on Carriage House Lane at 5:23 a.m. It is the first homicide in Riverton in nearly 30 years reports WCAU TV.

Police talked to many neighbors on Sunday as part of their investigation and hoped to find surveillance video that may have captured the shooting according to WPVI. No arrests have been made. Police tell KYW TV there is "no reason for alarm" and that it is safe to go about their daily business in the community located along the Delaware River
