Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says 49-year-old Monica Mogg faces two counts of first-degree murder. He said additional charges will likely be filed once Mogg, whose hometown was unclear, is extradited to New Jersey.

The victims, whose names have not been disclosed, were found by River Edge police around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Molinelli said a gun and a knife were used to kill the victims in the home sometime Tuesday, but he declined to provide further details.

Molinelli also would not say why police initially responded to the home.

A motive for the slayings remained under investigation Wednesday night.
