It wasn't a surprise that it snowed and sleeted across parts of the state overnight, but it certainly was a surprise to me driving on slush and sleet-covered roads on Rt. 571, which was a mess.

That system is long gone.  Temperatures today will be on the chilly side, no better than the upper 40s.  It will be windy, cold, but sunshine will be returning.

Mostly clear tonight in the 20s, but low or mid 30s in urban and coastal areas.

Partly sunny tomorrow and still chilly, around 50 or so.

Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the lower 50s, but cooler near the ocean.

We may be approaching 60 by Saturday, but there will be a chance of a shower or two, not much.

Sunday, though, it looks good regardless.
