Camden County prosecutors say 32-year-old Adam Reed of Willingboro was convicted Friday. On Monday, jurors determined he should qualify as a person barred from possessing a firearm.

Besides the assault charges, Reed was also found guilty on several drug and weapons offenses.

Authorities say that in June 2011, police saw Reed dealing cocaine out of the trunk of a car in Camden. When officers approached Reed and an accomplice, Reed jumped into the car and led police on a pursuit.

Reed eventually escaped on foot after the car hit other vehicles. Authorities say during the pursuit, Reed injured three officers and shot at one of them.
