The 7th Annual Wildwoods Olde Time Italian Festival is taking place on Sept. 28 and 29.

The free two-day festival is hosted by the Sons of Italy of Wildwood and will be held in Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue across from the Wildwoods Convention Center.

The Olde Time Festival celebrates Italian culture and caters to all ages. Children can enjoy contests, crafts, rides and games. Guests can also eat authentic Italian cuisine including dishes like pastas, sausage and peppers, spaghetti, tiramisu, cannolis and more.

The festival also features continuous free live entertainment. Tre Bella and Vito Piccone and the Elegants will perform on Sept. 28. Festivities on Sept. 29 will start at noon with music from the John Walters Band, Kenny Jeremiah, Bittersweet and Just in Time.

The Pasta Fagioli Contest will start at 4 p.m., followed by a grape stomping contest.

The Wildwoods have won numerous travel and tourism awards, heralding the resort for its beaches, boardwalk and attractions.
