Why Would You Ever Fight For Facebook? [VIDEO]

Have you ever been in a high school fight?  Someone at Bridgewater-Raritan High School is posting fights online.

It’s the biggest fear of the truly bullied and now it’s online for all to see. If you’ve ever been in a high school fight it could go either one of two way. You’re either going to become friends and put it away as a distant memory that neither of you will ever bring up, or you’re going to stay enemies and it’s going to haunt you for the rest of your life.

You may try to rematch or take it out on anyone and everyone you know until you come to terms with it.

There are life lessons to be learned from fighting, probably more from losing. For those who fear being made fun of, remember that it takes a lot of guts to be in a fight in the first place. Sometimes depending on the circumstances, even if you lose, you’ve got nothing to lose.

But the question begs to be asked, why would you want to post your fight on line for all to see? Forget about who wins, everybody loses because there are repercussions for fighting in school. Those students who appear on the video have been suspended. Someday when they’re applying to college someone will ask them why. What will follow will be an answer that can only sound stupid.

You don’t want to sound stupid when you’re trying to get into college. So as silly as it is to fight in high school in the first place, it’s even more ridiculous to do it on Facebook. The only one getting the last laugh from all of this is the person who set up the post in the first place, that is until they get caught.

Have you ever been in a high school fight? How did it turn out?
