Why the Princeton Battlefield is so important to me

A few callers wanted to know why I've been spending so much time discussing the development of Princeton Battlefield in the last two days, and I took the opportunity this morning to explain my logic.

New Jersey is full of historical landmarks dating back to our country's inception, and this spot is just one such example of a well-preserved look back in time.

Unfortunately, the Institute for Advanced Study is in the process of excavating this otherwise untouched war field for the sake of building new houses for its educational program.
