Why is Dennis Malloy boycotting the Oscars?

Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee have recently made statements that they are boycotting the Academy Awards over lack of diversity among nominees. Dennis Malloy is also boycotting the Oscars, but why?

Dennis says he is boycotting the Oscars not because of a lack of diversity, but because award shows suck! He says that every year, award shows get more and more politically correct.

He also makes the point that they are just actors who are playing pretend, and that people should stop getting offended over issues that frankly don't exist.
