I was not excited in the slightest bit to watch Beyoncé perform at this year's Super Bowl halftime show. I do have to admit though, I have changed my tune 100% as of yesterday. After being criticized heavily for lip-syncing the National Anthem at President Obama's Inauguration, she opened up her press conference in New Orleans yesterday by doing this:

The former Destiny's Child star proved to me that she's a true entertainer. For that, I give her my full support for this year's halftime show. The real question is: Who should perform at NEXT YEAR'S Super Bowl halftime show?

The game will be held at MetLife Stadium. Will whoever is in charge of deciding this could go the "Jersey Pride" route and book Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi to share a stage? Since New York City is visible from the Meadowlands parking lot, will they choose a more modern act from the big city? Maybe Beyoncé's husband, Jay-Z?

I would ditch all of the symbolic acts and choose, arguably, the most popular current rock band in the world right now. The Foo Fighters. These guys have been putting out hit after hit for years now. They have sold out arenas and put on one hell of a show. So, why not? I'm sure Dave Grohl and the boys would be interested.

Who would be your primary choice to perform at next year's Super Bowl halftime show? Leave your pick in the comment section below.
