If this were an Abbot and Costello routine, Bud would say “That’s right” driving Lou nuts as well as several Beatles, Stones and Led Zepplin fans, not to mention the E Street band and their Boss leader. But if the question were posed to you, who would you choose?

In the past month, we’ve had the chance to see just about every nominee up close and personal. The Rolling Stones who played here just a few weeks ago were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, noting that "critical acclaim and popular consensus has accorded them the title of the “World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band.”

When the Kennedy Center inducted Led Zeppelin last night, Jack Black, announced them as the ‘Greatest Rock n Roll Band of all time” That was seconded by John Krasinski who was plugging his movie on a David Letterman rerun. Letterman also went in.

I would say The Beatles, based not only on record sales, but world wide appeal not only on music, but on how much they opened our mind. From 2000-2010 the largest selling CD was “Beatles 1” not bad for a band that had not been together for over 30 years.

What would you say? Who is the Greatest Rock n Roll Band? Take the poll and add your band in the comments section.
