Who Better than Paul McCartney to Fill in for Kurt Cobain?

Courtney Love, widow of Kurt Cobain was not pleased with the Nirvana reunion featuring Paul McCartney at the 12-12-12 concert.

Love wrote on Facebook “There it was” “Uh it was bad” Love’s ire was more directed at the band than Sir Paul. In fact Love says he’s a Paul fan and she and her husband use to have “Paul and John fights”

Knowing what a huge Beatles fan Cobain was, I think it is the ultimate tribute to have Paul filling in for him. When I listen to “It’s About a Girl,” I hear the Beatles, albeit Lennon, and when I hear “You’ve got to Hide Your Love Away” I think of how great Nirvana would sound doing it.

Since Nirvana did reunite, if only for a night, who better to fill in for Kurt, than the surviving lead singer of his favorite band.  If you have any ideas, please write them down in the comment section below.
